Debating is a valuable activity that fosters the development of essential skills in our learners. Through structured argumentation, participants learn to articulate their thoughts, conduct research, and present their perspectives effectively. This activity enhances critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork abilities, while promoting confidence and intellectual exploration.

As students engage in debates, they examine diverse topics, consider multiple viewpoints, and cultivate informed opinions. The process encourages active learning, analytical thinking, and effective communication – skills that benefit individuals throughout their academic and professional pursuits.

We have a 1st Team and Senior Team, comprised of Gr10-12 learners. Two junior teams comprised for Gr8 and 9 learners. Teams are selected by trials and training.

Our teams qualify and participate in SACEE championships every year. Of over 50 teams we have managed to achieve quarter finals at both senior and junior levels.
