Dear Parents and Guardians

As we come to the close of the first term, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you for your continued support of Bryanston High School. It has been a particularly busy term, marked by significant academic pressures alongside a full programme of extra-curricular commitments.

Despite these demands, the term has been highly successful. Our learners achieved some outstanding academic results, complemented by fantastic performances and achievements across a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Well done to all our learners for the commitment, effort, and perseverance they have demonstrated throughout the term.

At the final assembly of the term, Colours were awarded to learners representing our summer sports codes. Congratulations to all the award recipients on this well-deserved recognition of your hard work and dedication.

As we enter the holiday period, we extend our best wishes to the learners and staff who will be representing Bryanston High School on various tours during the break. We trust that these experiences will be both enriching and rewarding, and we wish you safe travels and great success. In addition, we wish our eSports team every success as they compete at the Rand Show during the holidays. We are proud of your achievements and look forward to hearing about your performances.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to our educators, administrative staff, and ground staff for their tireless efforts and professionalism throughout the term. Their commitment ensures that Bryanston High School continues to thrive. A special word of thanks also goes to our SGB parent representatives for their ongoing support of the staff and school management. Your guidance and involvement are invaluable in helping us to run a successful and forward-looking school.

On a sad note, we say farewell to Ms Tanya McIver, who will be leaving Bryanston High School at the end of this term. We thank her for the significant contributions she has made to many areas of the school, particularly for her dedication to running our Computer Centres and teaching CAT. We wish her every success and happiness in her future endeavours.

As we head into the Easter holidays, we trust that our learners, staff, and parents will enjoy a restful and well-deserved break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in Term 2, refreshed and ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Thank you once again for your continued partnership and support.
